• Usage Data: Trip history, ratings, and platform activity to improve our services

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Facilitate ridesharing and delivery matching between users
• Process payments securely through our payment partners
• Ensure platform safety through verification and rating systems
• Improve our services based on usage patterns (anonymized)
• Send important service updates and notifications

3. Data Sharing

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We share minimal data only when necessary:

• Stripe: Payment processing requires sharing transaction data (we never share your full payment details)
• Service Providers: Trusted partners who help us operate the platform (all bound by strict confidentiality)

We do NOT sell your data to third parties. Your information is yours, and we respect that.

6. Account and data deletion

DropnRide allows you to request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

How to request deletion

• In the app: Open Settings (profile or menu), then tap Delete my account. Confirm to submit your deletion request.
• By email: Send a request to privacy@dropnride.com from the email linked to your account (or include your registered phone number) and ask for account and data deletion.

What we delete or retain

• Deleted: Your profile (name, phone, email, photo), trip and delivery history, messages, ratings, and any other personal data we hold about you.
• Retained where required: We may keep certain data for a limited time when required by law (e.g. fraud prevention, tax, or legal claims). Transaction records may be retained as required by our payment processor (Stripe) and applicable regulations; they are no longer linked to your identity after account deletion.

7. Location Data

Location data is collected only when you actively use the app for trips or deliveries. We use this data solely to match you with other users and provide navigation services. You can disable location services at any time in your device settings, though this may limit app functionality.

8. Children's Privacy

DropnRide is intended for users 16 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe we have collected information from someone under 16, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
